CFD2 is pleased to offer free
home fire safety inspections to residences of the district! During the
inspection we will note common fire hazards and provide recommendations
for safe-guarding your family from the threat of fire. A typical home
fire safety inspection will last about 30 minutes and will include the
following:
Testing your smoke detectors
Changing batteries in
your smoke detectors
Installing a new smoke
detector if you do not have one
Helping you make an
escape plan
Conducting a family
fire drill
Inspecting the home for
fire hazards and other safety hazards
Fire safety tips
Talking to your
children about fire prevention and fire safety
